Oregon Auto Repair Consumer Disclosure
At Cybertech Auto Repair LLC, we comply with all Oregon laws governing vehicle repairs (ORS Chapter 646A and related statutes). Our goal is to provide transparent, honest service.
Key Customer Rights and Our Practices:
Written Estimates: Before beginning work, we will provide a written estimate describing the proposed repairs, divided into tasks where possible, with estimated costs for labor, parts, and totals. You will receive a copy, and we retain one.
Authorization Required: We will not perform work or charge for services beyond the estimate without your authorization (written, oral with documentation, or electronic). Significant changes (e.g., exceeding certain thresholds like $200 for diagnostics or additional repairs) require separate approval.
Invoices: You will receive a detailed invoice listing all services performed and parts supplied.
Parts Disclosure: We will clearly disclose if any parts are used, reconditioned, or aftermarket (non-OEM). New parts will not be substituted with used ones without your consent. Aftermarket crash parts meet applicable quality standards where required.
Recordkeeping: We maintain records of estimates, authorizations, and invoices as required by law.
Your Right to Choose: Oregon law prohibits insurance companies from requiring repairs at a specific shop. You have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired.
